Good News, But No Answers

Before we got Alexander he had an IV and developed pneumonia while he was still in ET. After we got back from ET he developed double pneumonia. His symptoms disappeared after treatment, but the x-rays showed only slight improvement in his lungs.

So, the question is what's causing the pneumonia? The first stop on this ride was TB. Since he's from Ethiopia we had to test for TB. However, he had a BCG vaccination (this is the site of his abscess) so we cannot have a skin test or it would show up positive. His chest x-ray was inconclusive, so we had to do a blood test (3 viles). His blood work came back negative (NO TB), so we move on to the next theory. We have a call into our pediatrian and we will keep you updated.
